Orders
Acceptance of order
Your order becomes binding as soon as we have accepted it, subject to your rights of cancellation (see below) .
Your order will be accepted as soon as we have confirmed your order. Our acceptance of your order is conditional on the availability of the Products you have ordered. If any of the products you have ordered are unavailable, or should events occur beyond our reasonable control we reserve the right to cancel your order. In the unlikely event of this occurring we will let you know as soon as possible.
The Products you order will be made specifically to your order, in accordance with the measurements, specifications and any instructions you have given us.
It is your responsibility to check all details and aspects of your order are correct and suitable for your requirements, including measurements, dimensions, Product features, access and delivery.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
If you need to amend or cancel your order, you have the right to do so at any time within 7 days after you have placed your order by contacting us on 01276 470 192 and by notifying us in writing.
If you amend your order in any way more than 7 days after you have placed it, we reserve the right to charge you any costs we will incur in relation to your order.
Custom made Products cannot be returned and refunds will not be given unless they are inspected and confirmed by us as defective.
Prices
The price for the Products you order will be the price confirmed to you when or soon after you place your order.
Prices are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT.
Delivery within a radius of 50miles from the M25 is free.
Payment
Full payment of the order value is required when you place your order.
Cheques should be made payable to Eden House Limited.
Eden House Limited accepts payments from Visa, MasterCard, American Express credit card and debit cards issued in the UK.
Delivery
Goods will normally be delivered approximately 6-8 weeks after your order has been accepted.
To help you plan, we will contact you closer to the delivery date to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
Delivery is made to an external door on the ground floor.
Please assist us in clearing access in preparation for delivery and inform us prior to delivery of any access restrictions or special needs.
We shall not be responsible for delays or failures in delivery caused because we cannot gain access to the delivery address on the agreed date or because of other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We do not offer a storage facility and we therefore reserve the right to charge you for storage costs if we have to store your Products because you have been unable to accept delivery of them.
We carry the risk of loss or damage to the Products until you receive them. We will take every care to ensure that the Products are well packaged and delivered to you in good order. Please check your Products carefully and report any defects immediately on delivery as we will not be held liable for visible defects identified after receiving signed acceptance of delivery.
Security
Eden House Limited appreciates that you may have concerns about security on the internet. Our site uses a secure server to protect your personal information.
Ordering safely with Eden House Limited
As soon as you click 'Get a preliminary quotation' (see definition of 'preliminary quotation' below) your browser will go into secure mode. Data relating to your quotation and your personal details will all pass to our server in an encrypted format. As soon as you have finished ordering you will exit secure mode.
As an additional protection for you, our system is designed so that you cannot place an order until you are safely within secure mode.
We cannot be responsible for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by e- mail. Any such loss shall not be borne either wholly or partly by us, and shall be entirely your responsibility.
Privacy Policy
Eden House Limited is committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders or queries, to provide you with Products ordered, for billing and accounts purposes and to keep records of transactions.
No information collected by us on this site will be sold, rented or loaned except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy and consented to by you.
Exemptions
We shall not be liable to you where performance of any of our obligations to you is prevented, frustrated or impeded by reason of acts of God, war and other hostilities, civil commotion, accident, strikes, lock outs, trade disputes, acts or restraints of Government, imposition or restrictions of imports or exports or any other cause not within the reasonable control of Eden House Limited.
General
Eden House Limited strongly recommends that fitters and contractors are not booked until all goods are received and checked.
The law of England and Wales governs these Terms and Conditions and all disputes will be held in the courts of England and Wales.
Although every effort is made to ensure that the products and colours shown on this site are as accurate as possible, we cannot guarantee that the appearance and/or colours of products shown on this site exactly reproduce the appearance and/or colours of the physical products themselves.
In connection with building work Eden House Limited cannot advise on planning permission or building regulation issues.
To the extent permitted by law, Eden House Limited accepts no liability for any loss, damage or injury arising as a consequence of the advice provided.
Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions:-
'We' and 'Us' means Eden House Limited either alone or together with you, as the context requires.
'Working day', 'Day' and 'Days' means every day of the year except weekends, and English statutory and public holidays.
'You' and 'Your' means the person ordering goods subject to these terms and conditions.
'Product' and 'Products' means goods supplied by Eden House Limited.
'Preliminary quotation' is merely a guide for pricing purposes only and is not binding on either you or us.
