Explanations of terms used

Area
The area of a shutter is calculated in square metres (m2) by multiplying the width in metres (eg. 1530mm = 1.53m) by the height in metres (eg 1960mm = 1.96m)

Panel
A panel is each separate opening section of a shutter.

Closing Mechanism
The shutter uses a espagnolette  as the closing mechanism to firmly close the shutter.

Hold back
This is the fitting that secures the shutter to the wall when the shutter is open.

Closest obstacle
This is an obstacle which may prevent a shutter from being opened fully or secured against the wall. A simple solution may be to move the obstacle or to consider bi-fold shutters.
